Introduction
The purpose of the ISS TalentPlace community is to connect people that have an interest in ISS UK to enable them to learn more about the business and its people, to find jobs and further their careers. The service is delivered over the Internet.
Being part of the TalentPlace community allows you to communicate with our resourcing team, and share information about yourself with the team, as well as viewing the content independently as often as you wish. The amount and type of information you decide to share, and with whom you share it, is up to you within the boundaries defined by TalentPlace.
Who sees your personal information
There are the four main types of personal information on the ISS TalentPlace.
Secure information: This is information used to control access to the system, for example your password. We store this securely and no-one else has access to it.
Information about yourself that you share: This includes the information in your profile. You have control over what you share and you can update the information and how it is shared at any time.
Content you create and share: We help you communicate with other members. Some of this is one-to-one, some of it is in groups, and some of it is public discussion. You decide who gets to see this content when you create it.
Information about activity on the system: Information on your activity in the system is recorded and used, for example, to help you keep track of pages you have viewed. This is also used as part of the governance of the site. This information is only accessible by you and the system administrators.
How we use your information
TalentPlace only use your information to better understand your needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to share information with you that is interesting or relevant to you.
If you are interested in exploring new career opportunities with ISS UK, TalentPlace provides access to live roles through a link to Appellia, where you can complete an application form. The information you submit will be used to assess your suitability for these opportunities.
Who we share your information with
We will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share the personal data you provide online with other Company entities and/or business partners who are acting on our behalf for the uses described in "How we use your information".
Such entities and/or business partners are governed by our privacy policies with respect to the use of this data and are bound by appropriate confidentiality agreements.
How you can access or correct your information
TalentPlace will strive to keep information about yourself accurate. We will provide you with access to your information, including making every effort to provide you with online access to your registration data so that you may view, update or correct your information at the site where it was submitted. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you access or enabling you to make corrections. You can access information about yourself at any time you wish by accessing your profile in the Talent Place community.
Our commitment to data security
To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
